“When we started Mzansi’s in 2020, we had no idea just how far the impact would go. As an idea that originally started in the back of a scrappy notebook, we’re so proud to have become an integral part of our local community and join in the support and love for youth development and rugby in the Eastern Cape and beyond.
Our vision at Mzansi’s has been and continues to be focused on improving the lives of underprivileged youth through the power of rugby and education. Many of the schools in our local community do not currently have access to rugby and other sports, therefore, the need for our academy is more prevalent than ever.
Over the past three years, we’ve worked hard to include as many children – girls and boys – into our academy, providing a platform of greater opportunity through the beautiful game. We are so blessed to live in a country where a sport can offer such incredible opportunity and we aim to showcase the incredible talents of our children to the world.”
